Outfit of the Month: September 2019

I’m looking a little rumpled in this month’s outfit. Not only was it a crazy busy month between the ARSL conference in Vermont and Shakespeare in the Park shows and rehearsals, it has also remained stubbornly, hellishly hot and humid here in Tennessee. Therefore, not many outfits left me feeling inspired this month, so much as desperate for my fall wardrobe, but trying not to die of heat stroke.

My book choice this month is one of my childhood favorites: Bunnicula by James Howe. This was one of the first books I remember causing me to horse laugh. The scene where a crazed Chester tries to exterminate Bunnicula by pounding him with a raw steak had me in absolute stitches as a kid (and still makes me giggle as an adult). I am fortunate in that I now get to share it with my afterschool outreach book club kids as that is the book we chose this semester, a perfect spoopy read! We started a few weeks ago and I can’t wait for them to experience the hilarity!
